Students
"Wang Liping's system of Daoist Alchemy is easily one of the most comprehensive and powerful systems of its type that is openly available to English speakers. However, it was only after Nathan started teaching that the material was structured and explained in a way that was accessible and easy to understand."
"I have attended numerous retreats with Master Wang LiPing and find Nathan's courses and seminars to be authentic and effective."
Questions
Are you authorized by Wang Liping?
Yes. He asked me to teach in 2015.
Is it for beginners?
Yes. The courses start from the beginning.
What does it ask of the body?
Sitting cross-legged for about thirty minutes, longer as practice develops. Stretching, tai chi or yoga will help if that is hard now.
Can I combine it with other practices?
With tai chi, qigong, internal martial arts or standing practice, yes. Not with another internal alchemy or neigong system at the same time: they move the same things in different directions.
Is it safe?
Done wrongly, internal alchemy can cause problems. The courses are taught in a safe order. If anything feels wrong, stop and ask.
How do I ask questions?
Every lesson has a discussion space. Students also join TAO Friends, the student community, and the TAO Talks series. There is a mobile app.
